Royal Halamshire Hospital
Most non-emergency departments are represented in the Royal Hallamshire, with accident and emergency cases being handled by the Northern General Hospital, in the north side of the city.
The hospital has 14 operating theatres and provides training for both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield.
The Royal Hallamshire Hospital is located in the west end of Sheffield, in the S10 area, close to the main campus of the University of Sheffield and the Collegiate Crescent campus of Sheffield Hallam University.
The Hallamshire has a number of specialist outpatient clinics including a prosthetic eye department and specialist ophthalmology centre. There is also a minor injuries unit located here for people who are not needing emergency care.
